Welcome to Dundonald Baptist Church. We are a group of ordinary people who have faith in an extraordinary God and are seeking together to follow Jesus Christ, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Risen Saviour. We meet in the building right beside McDonald’s, opposite the Ulster Hospital and have been here for over 60 years. We meet together every Sunday to worship Jesus Christ, enjoy fellowship together, hearing and learning from God’s Word, the Bible.

We seek to witness to our local community that true life and hope in a complex and difficult world can only be found in the Lord Jesus Christ who lived, died and rose again. We would love to have you come and join with us.

If you would like to find out more about Jesus look here, or if you would prefer a video try this.

New to church?

If you are new to church or thinking of visiting with us for the first time we would love for you to come along. You will receive a warm welcome and not be put on the spot or made to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

If you are coming with children then the Sunday morning service would be best for you. We have a crèche available and a children’s church for children in primary school. If you are on your own, with a friend or as a couple you will feel at home at either service. After the service, everyone is slow to leave and someone will be interested to talk to you and say hello.

The service usually lasts about 80 minutes. There is singing, prayers, Bible reading and teaching. We usually include communion as part of the morning service apart from the last Sunday of each month when it is in the evening. We love everyone to stay for this and observe what goes on. There is a free-will offering collected in the morning as part of our worship and giving to God but please do not feel under any compulsion to give. Simply pass the bag on and you will see that many people already do this without any embarrassment.

If you are worried about what to wear, don’t. Just wear what you are comfortable in. People come in jeans and t-shirt to jacket and tie. We have a car park with plenty of space and if you aim to arrive 5 – 10 minutes before the start time you will have plenty of time to get parked and get a seat.
